Component Deleted When Selecting Sketch of Another Component

I have a sketch with 3 components in it. It's quit simple, built from the ground up with no externally referenced parts or whatnot.

Currently, if I double-click on Component 2's sketch, all of Component 3 is deleted.

I have attached a gif showing the behavior.

I tried exiting Fusion and restarting, to no avail. Thoughts on what to do?

That component is not deleted.  When you edit the sketch, Fusion goes back in time to when that sketch was created - before "FuzeAndRetainer" was first created.  This is one of the basic principles of history-based (Parametric) design.  When you exit sketch mode, that component will come back.

Here is a screencast that illustrates the concept: (contains audio)

Here is a help article about parametric design:  About Parametric and Direct Modeling that might also help.

Thanks Jeff! I feel rather sheepish.
