Comparing load cases

Hello,

I have a FEA study with 2 load cases, LC1 and LC2.

Near the legend I can select which result I want to display. However, the "max" value of the colour scale is different among the 2 studies, therefore is difficult to compare them by looking at the colour. Then:

- I double click on the legend to change the "max" stress value

- I change to display LC2

- I adjust the "max" stress to the same value

- I go back to show LC1..... and I find it with the colour scale back to the default "max" value Smiley Frustrated

So, how do I fix the same "max" value for the legend of my two load cases?

Hi @giorgio.demurtas,

I think you can do what you are trying to do in the Compare Workspace.  Once you use the Workspace selector to change the workspace to compare you can have a window with each load case.  Changing the min/max for a legend only applies to the active viewport.  I have attached 2 pictures to show you different legends and then modifying one.

Does that get you what you need to do?

Thanks,

Todd

Yes! thanks! I never noticed that item in the menu.

I find it a bit weird that the menu change content depending on which environment is recalled from.
