Coming from CATIA and have an issue with Canvas alignment ... any suggestions?

I am coming from CATIA V5 and I am having an issue with something that just seems to work in CATIA.

I import a canvas and want to set the working origin to a pixel on the canvas.

Once this origin is set I want all scaling and rotation to happen with respect to the origin.

How do I do this?

It seems like not matter what I do the scaling and rotation seem to happen to the image center....which is pretty useless.

Am I just making a noob mistake? Help!

Can't you simply scale the image and then move to desired location (we are talking pixels anyhow - it is not going to be exact)?

Attach your file here if you can't figure it out.

Fusion does not offer that ability.

You can do scaling via the calibrate function after you added the image.

This works pretty good as well.

Then you can position it correctly.

Fusion while having the calibration function offers not a good way to move scale rotate an image based on an origin you can define

which is actually a pretty common tool option from rhino to autocad.
