Combining to bodies makes mesh export fail

When I combine two bodies into one the exported mesh (using the make button to export to 3D print) has errors. The two separate fairly simple bodies export fine. See the screencast to show the problem.

If I export the meshes of the two bodies separately and combine them in Meshmixer the result is as expected - not wrong extra surfaces added.

Is this a bug or my mistake. You can see the original file here: http://a360.co/2ji6H2L

@hoegge

The problem is the top face of the bottom part is concave but the bottom of the top part is flat so there is a gap which creates an infinitely thin connection.

I'll post a screencast when it uploads.

Hi

Yes - thanks! You're right - of course - it only touched the upper part with an infinitely small edge so bound to go wrong. Thanks a lot for your quick answer.

And it is really great the ability to do these screencasts and share the 3D files. Autodesk has really made a cool solution with Fusion 360
