Combine Multiple Components with Instanced Parts into one Body

Hello all,

I just imported this model of a 40' Seabox and I'd like to compress it all into one body. I would usually just use the combine tool when selecting all of the bodies, but since a lot of the components are copy pasted, Fusion can't process it correctly (only one of each component gets fused the rest are deleted).

Next I tried exporting the model as an .FBX thinking if I reuploaded that new model it may come in as one part, but that also didn't work.

Any ideas as to how to accomplish this.

That's what I get when following your link:

Can you export the model and attach it to a post?

Why would you want to do this ?

Instanced (copy/pasted) geometry is usually a lot less memory intensive that individually copied solid bodies..

you can do this.  What you are seeing is a UI bug (that I think is in the process of getting fixed, but I'm not certain), where the other instances of the component are made invisible.  You can still pick them if you know where they are (or, you can pick them in the browser, but you have to dig into the Bodies folder to find them).

Aha! It would be really nice to get this fixed 😉
