Combine Failing

Hello everyone,

I'm having an issue with combing two bodies. There are no linked items and I have faces intersecting.

I have exported and uploaded the component in question from a bigger design.

Many thanks

Matt

You have some not very nice looking surfaces here that stop the combine working, deleting them fixes it. see attached file.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the reply.

Well spotted!!

I have deleted the face you mention and rebuild solid but not difference I'm afraid.

Yes, there are some others but these will get sorted when the combine takes place and I add some othe things to the solid.

Any other thoughts?

Which method did you use to correct those edges?

If you edit the features I created in the timeline it'll show the faces I deleted, note the 2 undercut faces in the corners.

I followed Mark's method using Patch environment initially and it didn't work. I tried again and I deleted an internal face. I then used Offset and Loft and the Combine in the Model environment and it was successful.

If you delete all 5 faces in the model workspace Fusion will heal the model for you, you need to select all the faces at the same time then press delete.
