Combine bodies but include openings

Hello, I have two .stl files that I want to combine into one object. Both are cylinders with outspurs and openings in the cylinders at 90 degree intervals in one and 120 degree in the other. I'd like to combine them with all outspurs as well as the openings for all outspurs (one overlapping at 0 degrees, the others at 90, 120, 180, 240, 270 degrees- it should look like this from above: https://dragonrocketry.com/cdn/shop/products/IMG_1939_1400x.jpg). I have tried to combine with intersect but it doesn't do it. Any assistance is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Because your data is from STL, it comes into Fusion as a mesh body.  Combine only works on solid bodies.  There is Mesh Combine in the Mesh environment.  That will work to combine the two mesh bodies into a single mesh body (see the video below).  But, then what?  You will still have a mesh body.  What is your ultimate goal here?  If it is just to 3D print, you're fine staying with mesh.  However, for other downstream operations, you may want solid bodies.

You can convert the mesh to a solid, but it will likely just be a simplistic faceted conversion.  Such solid bodies are slow to work with, and lack precision.

If it were me, this shape is simple enough that I would re-create it using native Fusion solid modeling tools..  Use Mesh Section and Fit Curves to Mesh Section to do that.
