Colour Gradient Change

Being fairly new to Fusion 360 I have been attempting to apply colour to the body of the design. I can easily do this for a singular colour for each part/face, however my question is can I have it so that it is a gradient of two colours.

For example take a cylinder, can I get it so the cylinder is blue at the front but changes to purple? If not is there any programs that can do this fairly easily (for Mac).

Thanks.

You could try adding a custom image to the appearance. Check out the below screencast for some tips.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the suggestion/reply, I tried what you said and have attempted to do it. Ive attached a screenshot of what it looks like, I was hoping for one colour at the front changing to one at the back. Is there any possible way this is possible?

Thanks.

Not in Fusion, because it looks like your model have multiple bodies and you would need to manually adjust texture for each body.

I will insist (you've duplicate your question: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/design-validate-document/colour-gradient-change/m-p/6707823#M83550) that you should try Lagoa http://home.lagoa.com/

Just look:
