Hey guys, ah so dark green for driven dimensions on a dark gray background is not really a smart color contrast choice 😉

4.PNG

In other environment a tiny variation in gray tones (driving is brighter) is also not very good for redability.

5.PNG

The only thing that in other env helps to distinguish the two types is that driven dimension values are included in brackets.

Would it be possible for you guys to include custome colors so users can set those values to their own needs?

Then we can create color contrast pairs that work 😉

Thanks for the feedback, the dark green is difficult to read in that screenshot. I noticed the below Idea in the Ideastation has been accepted, which means this request is already in the back-log.

Thanks,

Great. I hope to see this soon. The color contrasts here is really not functional. The dev or ui designer should have seen that before releasing the update. Any chance you guys could create a hot fix? This makes the driven dimensions nearly unreadable and I as a user will not or should switch environment s to see the ui better 🙂

Hi Claas,

The sketch driven dimension color is defined in the file greyroom.xml for environment: Grey Room. You can find it in the installation folder. You will find the following line in the file:

<SketchDrivenDimensionColor ARGB="1 0.21 0.50 0.21" />

You can change the ARGB value to the color you like, save the file and restart Fusion.

I was able to locate the XML files to modify the stock Environment colors. However, I have not been able to determine which particular value drives the semi-transparent orange fill color for sketches. We get three different opacities for this orange fill; selected, rollover, and deselected. I would like to increase the opacity of the "selected" and "rollover" states, possibly even changing their color as well.

But I can't quite decode which values in the XML file(s) control those actions.

I'd like a suggestion on where to find these *.xml files to modify.
