I need some help on figuring out the easiest way to have students add a drawing to the fixture I have created. The design project is the traditional balsa wood CO2 car.
I am going to try using the fixture as the origin because I have found machining these cars from 4 different setups necessary. The issue is the origin or offset point gets machined away.
So I have multiple things going on here that I am trying to sort out.
The main issue is I cant figure out how to rotate the car simply once I join it to the fixture. The way the fixture works requires the car position to change pretty significantly. This also will require the students to adjust the height of the c02 car hole plug. I will attach the drawing to see what you may think is the easiest way to get kids to understand how to accomplish this.
I was also thinking that they may need to create 4 separate drawing files and then CAM them all out separate to generate code needed to machine the car.
Assume the students have a very basic level of fusion drawing skill. Thanks.
What file type do I need to use to upload an assembly on here? F3d doesnt seem to be an option for me with this drawing.
