Circles in Triangle

Hello,

I am new to Fusion and currently having trouble to achieve this design.

Screenshot 2024-03-08 at 14.30.26.png

Currently I made the triangle and then sketched a circle with distance to two of the edges of the triangle. I then wanted to use rectangle pattern to copy the circle in the triangle. However because my circles have to be 98mm apart from each other the distance for the last cup the right doesnt fit with the edges on the triangle.Screenshot 2024-03-08 at 14.33.16.png

How do I approach this. I want to keep it modular because I need to insert some holes in the circles because there should go some sensors.

Thanks for any help

Greetings Lucca

Hi,

In this pattern, the triangle width/height is controlled via the holes and their spacing.
A reverse solution would also be possible.

The reference surface is used to limit the pattern to the triangular surface.

Thank you all, I really appreciate your help. Your Files helped me a lot to get a better understanding of fusion. As I come from polygon modeling it is quite hard to wrap my head around how cad modeling works.
