Changing number of sides of a polygon

Is there a way to change the number of sides of a polygon after I have sketched it, extruded it, further edited it say with a chamfer?

Nope. I don't believe that can be edited after initial creation.

It would make an interesting idea for the Idea Station though.

 
This should be posssible though by using a circular sketch pattern, some constaints and perhaps a bit of math.
