Change dxf export settings for sheet metal/flat pattern

Hello,

Sometimes im using f360 to design and order sheet metal parts.

Maker requires me to send him dxf file for cutting and bending, but his comments on the drawings i sent him were:
1. he wants not to have any Bend_extent lines on dxf,

2. preferably, bend lines would be differnet color than laser cut lines (even better if color changes also for bend direction)

So far i do it by hand, using external software to edit each dxf separately, but that costs me some time.

Is there a way to change/edit the "export dxf" function?

It's not glaringly obvious but there is a drop-down to control what is included in the .dxf created from the Flat pattern

Thank you for your reply. I found the bend lines tab, i can toggle it visible or not in fusion. It indeed hides the bend extent lines that i would like not to have. Point is, these lines are still exported to dxf and are visible. I tried saving the design after the change and did multiple attempts.

I assume the settings i am looking for are not there, since they are quite personalized.

Well, probably i will just keep on editing generated dxfs as i do now.

If you have a Fusion 360 Subscription License you can create a 2D drawing of the Flat Pattern and then export it from there as a DXF.  The DXF created by this method places all the different lines on different layers which can be changed to any color desired using many applications that will open DXF files, including many machining packages.  I used AutoCAD but there are others.  The Screencast will demonstrate.

Well that is a surprise...I recollected clearly that you could create .dxfs with or without bend lines and extent lines.

Creating flat pattern drawing and exporting it to dxf seems the closest to optimal from my point of view since i can also add automatic bending table and info about material/thickness/amount on same drawing so it is complete.

Shame there is no possibility to set the layer colours and i still have to do it with external software, but its good enough for my needs.
