Central webpage for user's access to personal data of all kinds

1) When I need to change the publish setting on an uploaded video, I have to go to a different page,

Here http://www.autodesk.com/products/screencast/overview.

and when I got there and signed in, I am not able to change its publish setting!

Before doing that, I have to find that page.

2) Likewise, when I upload a file for others to access and want to change the publish setting to unlisted,

I have to do the same. In this case, I do not even remember where to go now.

I tried my settings or even look at the right side pane of this forum.

The right side pane listing has no such links.

The entire web experience is NOT seamless!

So this is very frustrating.

We need central web page containing links to user's personal data of all kinds.

I am unaware of existence of such a page.

You remark that the entire web experience is not seemless about sums up my expereince.

It is useable, but definitely not seamless.

Hi ilikef360,

If you want to change the publish settings of an uploaded Screencast, you would need to go to your contributions page:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/profile/contributions#/dashboard/public

and select the options menu for the Screencast that you want to change its publish setting and select edit. Once your are in the edit page, you can change the publish setting by selecting choices in the Viewable By dropdown.

@Anonymous - this is good (and timely) feedback, thanks for sharing.  There is a project in the works to make improvements to the overall Autodesk profile experience, so i'll be sure to share this suggestion.

I am not able to change it.

It said unlisted.

There is no drop down menu of any kind for me to change it....

I am assuming you are logged in and you are on your "My Contributions" page and from there you selected "Edit" for the Screencast that you wanted to change the publish setting

Once you select, you should be edit page:

You should be able to click on the viewable by drop-down and change it to public/private/unlisted.
