Cant delete File

I want to delete a file but I can't. The program (Fusion 360) tells me, that the projekt is in usage (in another project or drawing) but it isn't.
I also looked at A360 online. There is no reference or drawing shown. And I can't delete it from A360 too.

How can I delete this now?

Although they are incredibly similar I prefer SolidWorks overall. I find the modeling/assembly environment better in SolidWorks, but I prefer the drawing environment in Inventor. For instance, SolidWorks will often figure out how to make a complex fillet chain work that Inventor won't allow. Unfortunately, Dassault Systemés doesn't offer a free version of SolidWorks, or anything for that matter. There is another free package I found that is just like SolidWorks and Inventor. And, the free version isn't watered down like the free version of Fusion360. It's legit, real-deal proffessional CAD software. I forget the name, but I will share it with you this evening once I'm home from work.

I would loved to try the software.  I am just a hobbyist and stemming from making items to helping a handicap relative.  But I was to give up my hobby license and buy the product.  So I am more than open to another solution.

Sorry, I am a few days late. But, download "Solid Edge 2023." It's a Siemens product and they have a free version. I have found it to be the closest to Inventor and SolidWorks.

With that said, I think Fusio360 is a great program despite it's flaws. If you think about it, it's really in its infancy. It will get better and it has a ton of potential. So, don't give up on it. Autodesk has been a leader in the world of CAD software for decades for a reason. Keep learning Fusion360. when it irons out all of its wrinkles it will be an incredibly powerful and robust software package.

I have PCBS I can't delete as well. I would suggest that in addition to warning you that a file is referenced in another document that it tell you what other files it is linked to. Better yet, there should be a way to nuke the links and sever ties.

Putting the files in a folder, and deleting the folder doesn't work for this case either.

That would require someone to be forward thinking.  There is a menu link under version called Used In but it shows nothing.  I am also suspecting that at some point when I deleted the files that the designs were used in the remaining document was not updated.  So, it can never be deleted.  I am one of those individuals that likes to clean up and keep minimal files.  Fusion is the only product where I have had to create a trash folder to put documents that I can never delete.

Hey Autodesk, do you read any of these Posts?  Do you even care?

If you like it clean and don't care about the history, you could export
your design into a f3z file, delete everything and re-import the exported
file.
