Cannot convert a body to a component

Rt-clicking a body does not show "create components from bodies". The list of items shown is:

Create selection set

Configure

Properties

Save as mesh

Copy

Show/Hide

Isolate

Find in Windows

Why is the menu list different from the one that includes "create components from bodies"?

The design was opened from the data panel.

Here is a screen shot of my Browser and results of rt-clicking on a body.  In the past the menu would be longer and have the "create components from bodies" option.  What's causing this new menu to appear?

I do not have a direct solution.  The first thing I would do is close and restart Fusion 360 to see it that corrects the issue.  If that does not, I would use the Fusion 360 Service Utility and select the Repair option.  Here is the link to how to use the utility.

I believe you are working with a linked component also called a XREF for external reference.

This can only be modified in the original fil you inserted.

However, you can use the surface/boundary fill tool to copy that geometry anywhere in your target design you want to.

I re-installed Fusion and the problem went away.

I couldn't run the repair facility because I was getting missing dll messages.  I eventually uninstalled, then reinstalled fusion, and the problem went away.  Thank you for your suggestions.
