Can you offset an edge?

With a solid body, can you offset an edge like you can do with faces?  I just need to perform a simple operation on this geometry. see demo video and file link. https://a360.co/47C5zxA

Using the Modify > Draft Tool, you need to know the required Angle, from the vertical face at the pivot position.

 

For a 4 mm adjustment, you would normally draw the line and dimension the lift (4mm), Measure the Angle.  But now that you have drawn the sketch, extrude the profile, set to Join.


Move (rotate) Face, will not make it the correct length.

 

Depends on how the current body was made, maybe edit the original sketch, but I see the sketch has no dimensions.

Of course you can do it this way but it's so tedious. Make a sketch and extrude join....see video demo

Drawing a 4mm line, and join the top of it to the corner of the rectangle, not easy enough - you are in the wrong game.

Add the new profile section to the original Extrude.
