Can't select intersecting faces/edges to fix the problem

Hi everyone,

I'm new to Fusion 360 and just starting to learn it. This might be a simple and common issue for many of you, but despite looking through articles and tutorials, I haven't been able to fix it. I'd really appreciate any help with this problem.

I'm trying to create a Pikachu head model using the Form tool. After completing the form and clicking "Finish Form," I received an error message indicating that there are intersecting edges or faces. Fusion 360 highlights the problematic area with a red circle in the screenshot. However, I can't seem to select that exact problematic face. Even after attempting to adjust surrounding faces to access it, I'm still unable to select it.

Is there a way to directly select this specific problematic face or fix the intersecting face issue?

Thank you so much for your help!

The model you attached converts fine, so there's nothing to do. My recommendation would be, to watch some tutorials for Blender, Maya etc. on how facial topology and how to model faces.

Your over use of N-Gons is definitely going to cause problems at some point in time

Hi, thank you for your response! I just reopened my file, and as you mentioned, it does indeed convert fine. However, I'm curious about the excessive use of N-Gons. As far as I know, N-Gons are faces with more than four edges (such as those with three, five, or more edges). Could you point out which areas you're referring to as N-Gons? Also, I'm curious—how can the overuse of N-Gons cause problems?

Thank you in advance for your help!
