can't offset an already offset line?

When I offset a line in sketch.

And then try and do another offset of that particular offset line...  it will not work.

Yup. I asked the question awhile back. Can't offset from an offset. 

Try offsetting two from the same line, but using parameters to calc the distance of the second relative to the first. 

ie, first one is parameter X, second one is offset X+Y
