Can't move feature in timeline

I can't move a hole feature to the end of my part timeline and I don't see why it would be limited.

* I know that a sample file will be needed but I don't want to post it here.

Thank you for help!

Well, to be honest, without the model, there is limited help this forum can provide.  What I can say is that you can only drag a feature up to a point where any features that it is dependent on lie.  So, for instance, you cannot drag an extrude before the sketch that owns the profile for that extrude.  If you have projected an edge from a revolve into a sketch, you cannot drag that sketch before the revolve.

In your case, your hole feature must have some dependency on a feature in your timeline.  Did you dimension the hole from an edge?  Did you select a face as a termination face for the hole?  Either of those will cause such a dependency.

Thank you for replying and I understand what you mean. Is there a way to share to model with specific people?

Hi @brockmoel,

The best way is to get a public link to the model from the web viewer, see instructions here:  How-to-share-a-Fusion-360-design, and send it to me from the Private Message capability in this forum.  I can use that link to download the design and work on it without affecting your version.  We guarantee to keep this design secure, and to only use it for debugging purposes.

Did you figure it out? I just downloaded the model and moved the hole feature you were referencing.Screenshot (39).png

I see the same as @Brady_Fulton.  I think the design you posted is not quite in the same configuration as in your original post.  I don't see that hole feature in the timeline, and the highlighted face is now a member of a hole feature that produces four holes, and is at the end of the timeline:

This is one of the downsides of sharing a model via link:  The link is to the current version of the design, so when we download it, we always get the latest.

Do let us know whether you are still having a problem, and if so, share the design at that point (you can do a Save As to create a new design, and then re-open your original, so you can still keep making progress on your design).

Thank you for looking.

Do you see the void that I put into the screen grab? Did my screen grab come through with my last reply?

no, unfortunately, your last reply had only the link to the model.  If you can tell us what feature you want to move, either by screen capture, video, etc, I'll take another look at it.
