Went to the fusion360.autodesk.com page. Lower left pane, I clicked on "Get Fusion 360". Next page I am greeted with message saying that I dont have windows 7 x64.
My system is exactly that. Reboot and tried it again...... problem still persists.
Here is my system specs and the message that I see.
Any clues as to what I can do to get this going?
Thanks

Hi karthur1,
Sorry for the inconvenience. Would it be possible to provide us some additional information that may help determine the problem you are experiencing?
The information can be attained by visiting http://useragentstring.com/ and reporting what you see immediately under "User Agent String explained:"
Thanks for letting us know the problem.
Hi karthur1,
Is seems there are some problems on the user-agent reported by your web browser, which causes the problem in platform detection.
Normally, IE 9 on Win 7 will report user-agent strings like this: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/5.0)
May I know which web browser are you using? And what’s the version? Is there any special security/privacy setting made to the web browser? I can test the web browser by using the same one as yours.
Best Regards,
Hi karthur1,
From the User Agent string that the IE returned, it seems like the user agent has been manually overridden somehow. We can’t detect the platform if the browser is not reporting it. Have you tried with other browsers such as Chrome or Firefox?
Workaround #1:
You can bypass the problem by installing with this link (Windows 7 x64 OS):
https://dl.appstreaming.autodesk.com/production/installers/Fusion%20360%20Client%20Downloader.exe
Workaround #2:
Here is another workaround to override the User Agent for IE 9.
1. Open your IE 9, access any website.
2. Press F12 to show the Develop Tools.
3. Tools -> Change user agent string.
4. Select the Custom option and add custom user agent strings to the list. User Agent string for IE 9 on Win 7 x64 will looks like this: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/5.0)
5. Set it as the active user agent string.
6. Copy and paste the below link to the address bar http://www.appstreaming.autodesk.com/install/app/73e72ada57b7480280f7a6f4a289729f/ , then press Enter to access the website in the same tab.
7. The download should start.
Note this setting is temporary. Internet Explorer reverts to its default user agent after it’s closed.
Hope it helps. Please let us know if any more issues.
Best regards,
