Can't group components - not cut paste, not drag and drop

Hi all, I have some components (Screws) and I want to drop them into an assembly to keep them organised with the other parts they screw into.

I've done this before I am sure but for some reason these ones won't.  I've attached a video to demonstrate.  Can anyone suggestion what I'm doing wrong?

Video is here https://youtu.be/6aYuQuDUMOA

Thanks a tonne, pulling my hair out here!  🙂

Hi Rob,

Thanks for reaching out. From the video, it looks like the History Marker is not at the end of the timeline. Could you confirm if it's the case?

It's a current limitation that Fusion blocks the cut/paste when the History Marker is not at the end, to avoid some potential failures during downstream parametric update. You may move the history marker to the end and then perform the drag and drop operation.

Hi Nicolas,

I can't say for sure but I reloaded it the other day and it just worked. Maybe what you're describing was the problem but I didn't have to do anything this time around.  I'd guess you were right and in the time between edits I've moved the time slide back in place at the end. 🙂

Thanks so much for your help.

This is still fairly buggy. I could not move or group my components in the browser at all after dropping a bunch of new components in a fresh file. At your suggestion, I checked if the history marker was at the end of the timeline, and it was, as I would expect from not touching it in a new file. So then I tried moving it about and then moving it back to the end of the timeline, and now component ordering works.
