I'm using Fusion 360 1.8.679 and can't find the Shell command. Where is that command?

Best regards.

Are you in the model workspace?

I will also add that, if you are in the Sculpt workspace and dealing with a T-spline body, the thicken command can be useful for creating shells.  It sometimes succeeds with difficult shapes that Shell can't handle.

No I was in the Sculpt model. I'll change my model workspace and try it out. Also how can I export my model in geomtry exchange format as DWG, STEP, IGES?

Best regards.

- Click on "details" for the file you want to export.

- When the details page comes up you will see "Export" and choose the file type

- The export process will start so now you can go back to the dashboard.

- When the export process is done you will get a notice in the activity feed showing you the exported file and a PDF summary of the translation report.

- Under the file you just exported, you will see "Download" to save the file where you want.

The abbreviated version:

-Click details

-Select Export

-At dashboard click download

Let me know if you have any problems with this.

In the future, can you start new topics with a new post?  This will make it easier for other customers to find the correct information.

Thanks,

Andy

Hi,

I finally created a solid using the SHELL command in the MODEL workspace. I've used HOLE to makes a hole in the model. I've exported the model to an .stl format. The result shows a surface on the larger face of the model. Why? That model is hollow. I've attached the .stl file.

Best regards.
