Hi guys,
I am trying to extrude a simple "hole" in my model. I am new to this and this is my first project.
I started by making a rectangle like this.
I extruded this rectangle on top and made it like a pyramid with a flat top like this:
I added another rectangle skech at the bottom, because I want a hole there so I can place a wheel there.
I tried to extrude this, so I get a hole like this:
As you can see, the extrusion is turning red. Which I think means that it won't be able to cut through the body.
Anyway, I tried to press OK, but nothing happens. Sometimes a random warning or error pops up but, besides that nothing happens.
Anyone knowing how I can achieve it?

Red means cut.
Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?
In that case you have external links.
No problem - Attach the *.f3z file here (or provide a public link).
I see you have done that.
Ah yes. I have a link to another object.
I added the file for you
Note that there are unresolved issues highlighted in yellow in you Timeline.
You should resolve each issue as it occurs.
In this case for Sketch1 reselect the XY Plane...
Note that your sketch is blue rather than black (missing dimensions).
Note that there is a Extrude-Cut feature occuring in the Timeline before any solid features (you must have deleted an earlier extrude).
Note that if I delete all of your Extrude-Cut attempts that there is no Extrude with taper feature for the Pyramid in the Timeline??? How did you do that?
I recommend that you start over from scratch.
Thank you very much! I don't know how I got that. I just followed a tutorial, it might be some cntrl+z that caused the problem.
I made another file and did the same, this time it works.
