Can't export files

I have been working along fine, modifying my design, then exporting it has an stl.  Then 3d printing it with prusa.   This has been working for at least the last week.

All of a sudden I can not export an stl file.  Fusion sits there for at leas 15 mins with the circle of death revolving. If i click anywhere the browser bar background turns black.  Then if i click again I get the message program not responding.

I am working on line and the internet connection is fine.

Since i don't get to the prompt that allows me to select the file type I wish to export, I also can't attach a file to help.

Any ideas?

If you are not, try right clicking on the body, component or assembly and use the Save as Mesh command.  You have a lot more options than trying to Export.

Maybe it is time to visit the Fusion Service Utility and the Repair Option

OH OH  i launched the repair option, and now fusion is missing a file to open. and the launch utility wont open?

Message code execution cannot precede because Qt6Gui.dll was not found.  Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.

What now?

Edit: I forgot, please go to Control Panel and see if you can Uninstall the existing Fusion application.

(Please read completely before proceeding)

As it says, you will need to reinstall the application.  If you are on Windows, this is how I would proceed.  Make sure EVERYTHING on your computer is closed including your Anti-Virus software.  I would then go to the following folder and the folder called Webdeploy.  The indicated user name will be replaced with yours.  A quick way to get this this folder is to open up File Explorer and type %localappdata%.  This also assumes you have Show Hidden Folder enabled in your File Explorer.

WebDeploy.jpg

Next you need to log into your Autodesk Account and download the Fusion Installer.   The address in shown in the screen capture.

Autodesk Account.jpg

Once there you will find Fusion and click to download the installer.

Download Installer.jpg

Once you have the installer EXE, right click on it and choose "Run as Administrator" from the context menu.

Run as Administrator.jpg

Before running the installation routine, make sure everything on your computer is not running including Anti-Virus software.

If you are using a MAC, I cannot help.
