Can't Draw A Center Mark

I've cut holes in a body, using other bodies as a cutting tool, as well as using a cylinder to create a centre point for my hole, then using the hole tool extend the hole to cut through the cylinder and into the main body.

When I go to Drawing, then select Center Mark, then try to select the holes I've made, it won't recognise the holes I've cut. It says on the alt text that I have to select a hole or rounded edge, but it doesn't work on the holes!

What am I doing wrong?

Looking at your screenshot it looks like the holes are not perpendicular with the view. It's hard to tell if it's just the holes or the whole body, can you share the design here? Export the 3d model as an f3d file and attach.

I'm unable to share the file as it's pending a patent, but it's basically a rectangular box, with the top face on a 6 degree slope top (back) to bottom (front).

Does this effect the Center Mark?

Yes it will as the holes are no longer circles. There is a workaround that might work for you using a named view. In the model workspace select the top face of the part and select Look At from the toolbar at the bottom of the screen. Next right click Named Views in the browser and create a new view called "Plan View" and save your file. Now when you create a drawing use the named view as the base view

That's done it. A bit weird how it works. Doesn't make sense to a new user, and I'm not sure why they've done it like this... once again.
