Can´t add appearances to the design, requesting help

Hello,

I have a problem in Fusion, that I can´t seem to find a solution to:

I´m trying to create a render that includes a light bulb, but the program won´t let me add any appearances to "In This Design", unless I added it as a material fist.

This wouldn´t be an issue, if there was a material version of the appearance I´m trying to apply, but the two libraries are not identical, so the appearance doesn´t exist as a material.

If anyone knows, how to fix this, please let me know. I´m working with an education license, if that information is of any relevance.

Thank you (:

Hi,

There should be no difference to the way you add an appearance or change a material to a model. You simply open the

appropriate menu and drag the material or appearance to the part or body. If you have imported an appearance then

the problem may be the wrong file type that fusion is trying to apply?

Upload your model and a screenshot of what is happening and what you want and we can have a look.

Cheers

Andrew

Thank you for your reply,

The appearance isn´t imported, it´s from the fusion library.

I´ve checked with my project partner and for them it works, so I think it might be an issue with my laptop.
