Can not put a Tangent Constraint on a Projected Line.

Hey guys, i hope you can help me,

i did it two times before on the same Face. But now it seems it wont work and i can not finde out why.

After i clicked on the Tangent Constraint i can only select the sketch/arc i created or the projected line. But i can not execute the constrain on them.

Thank you!

I did a Video where you can see the Problem i have.

It worked on the same object at other Points but here it does not.

Btw: Is it not possible to edit the original post?

Fusion wont let you put a constraint where it thinks it's the wrong type of geometry for that type of constraint.

Just playing useing the same shape it works sort of but but goes a bit wonky. it may or may not be a bug. can you post your file.

Go to File -> Export and save as a .F3D Archive File and attach it to your next post

Try this:

Click on the lower spline (the one you want to add tangency to) to make the handles active. Then manipulate the end handle point (where you want the tangency) and drag it so that it becomes close to tangent (visually). If you come close enough, suddenly Fusion will understand what you want, and then it indicates tangency with a tangency constraint (added automatically). This will only happen when you are close to being tangent, though.

I've found that this often works even if you cannot explicitly add the tangent constraint like you tried.

Hey guys i solved it,

but thank youguys for for your replys. I do a tutorial and there was a mistake in it.

First he did the Spline first and after that he projected the line. But i needed project the line first.

@mroek

That tip, I will keep in mind. Thanks!
