Can no longer drag components into other components

Has this been turned off since the last update?  I can no longer drag components into other components.  I like to have separate components for things like hardware and such, and just to keep the tree more manageable, but this no longer works for me.

This must be related to the big performance hit I took with the last update.  If I make a new design and keep it simple I can still move components.  My larger assembly is having problems though.  I can select the component in the tree, drag it but when I hover over another component, that component does not highlight, allowing me to drop the first component into it.

You may want to check if you timeline marker is rolled all the way to the end. Only then you can drag components in the browser.

Thanks for the reply but that doesn't solve it.

In that case you need to share your design. Otherwise we have no chance to get to the ground of this. I'd seriously doubt that the ability to do this has been turned off with an update.

Scrolling to the end of the timeline fixed this issue for me, I didn't realize it wasn't there. Not being able to arrange components was driving me crazy, thank you 🙂

Make sure "Component Drag" is turned on

Component drag is only available in Direct Modeling mode and its function is viewport related only.
The ability to reorganise the browser (which is MUCH easier in DM mode) is not affected by this setting.

I was having the same issue. I couldn't nest components. The problem for me was that I was not at the end of the timeline, I had gone back a feature, and for some reason Fusion didn't like that. Putting this here so that other people don't waste 15 minutes trying to fix this issue.

I have the same problem right now with my assembly. I remember that it worked a few versions of my assembly ago but now it stopped. I made sure that the marker as at the end of my timeline but that doesn't help. Any solutions?
