Can any Pros help me take on this design!

Hello! I really want to 3D Print a lampshade like this and I was wondering if anyone could help me design it! I was experimenting doing all different type of pattern functions to try to get it right (Pattern along lines, Rectangular, and circle) . In the picture it shows that the pattern revolves around the whole figure in one continues form and doesn't stop until it reaches the top. 

Could you give me any tips and tricks to have the same effect?

If this would be a truly circular or semi circular shape that could be created by contiguous curves I could help.

This rounded-box shape, however is very complicated if even possible to do by hand in Fusion 360.

A software like Rhino in combination with Grashopper is likely a better choice but has a very steep learning curve if you're new to CAD and 3D modeling.
