This is more meant for developers of Fusion 360 which I find to be an awesome program itself. I really cant stress that enough. Its awesome!
Bug: I modeled an electrical outlet, copied/pasted that electrical outlet, creating what I thought was a 2nd component. You would think. I then altered the 2nd component (without having the original visible) and for some reason all the changed I made to the 2nd component mirrored in the original. So all my hard work with the original component was erased due to me changing the 2nd one. I believe if you copy/paste something; Fusion 360 should make the copy have its own state. Basically, copy/paste should duplicate the item so I can make changes to only that item.
Possible Code Solution: I believe the original should stay intact. The 2nd component probably takes on the original's sketches and when making changes to those sketches it alters both. So maybe when copying/pasting a component the copy takes on its own original sketches/changes. That way they are independent. In the code somewhere.
My Solution: I can do a Save As on the component I just created. And then go back using the time frame to get the original. Save As that too.
And again awesome program. Its one of my favorites. Thanks for creating it.
