Break Arc into multiple points

Looking for a way to break a sketched arc into multiple points then dimension points from one location. What I am attempting to do is create X and Y moves so someone on a manual machine can move through this following his digital readout of X and Y moves. I've done this before with Autocad by just dividing the arc into points then create a hole table from points. Now I want to do this with Fusion! 🙂 anyone done this yet or figure it out?

There isn't a break line option as per AutoCAD - at least not one I have ever found....would be a useful feature so if it isn't already suggested in IdeaStation you should definitely add it. As a quick work around ( at least for arcs and some other simple geometry) you could try the following:

  1. draw a line from the centre point of the arc to the end point of the arc
  2. use circular array to copy out the line from the arc centre point (remember to set the angle to whatever the angle of the arc is)
  3. turn the lines into construction lines (or before the array) if you wish
  4. from here you can:
    1. divide up the arc using break line function and each instance of a line
    2. divide up the arc using the point option by placing one on each intersection
    3. just reference the intersections for other features and leave the arc as is

Screenshot below for reference. Hope this helps!

If you want to do that in a drawing and not just in a screenshot you'l have to create 3D geometry, because Fusion 360 (as far as I know) does not show sketch elements in drawings created with the drawing environment.

There is no single command in Fusion 360 that would allow you to divide an arc into equal pieces. If you're still interested, I can create a little screencast on how to do that.

Yes please if you can, another option I thought about was a cam post that
would create line segment moves.

You can just make a circular pattern of points and use those in the CAM workspace. How close together are the points? If there's room to make holes in a model the drill op in the CAM workspace has an option to select all holes of the same diameter with one click. Below is a screencast using just point, I made the box just to make the setup easier in the CAM workspace. The file's attached.
