Hey everyone,
I'm having a problem with components naming.
I've been using Fusion360's Manufacture workspace and for one of the projects, i have to create a production sheet with a variety of parts on it and cut it later on a Router CNC, as shown in the picture below.
After positioning the components through "Move->Create Copy" I tried to make a drawing with the parts that are produced from the initial sheet, but I did not see that they were considered a body and not a component, so i used the option "Create components from bodies" and a long list of components have been created.
So, I've been trying to rename these components so they could appear as one in my BOM table, but I can't find how to link the names of the equal components in order to their quantities add up. I have the original file that is named, for instance, "porta-damper-inferior:1" and after I rename the copy of that component to "porta-damper-inferior" it won't add up to the quantity of the original part.
Is there a solution for this kind of problem?
Thank you,
Marco Passos
