I am tracing round half of an image but when revolved it turns out larger than expected and the inner is all extruded. I have attached the image of what I want to create with dimensions. what I had done is given the height is 18.422mm, in fusion I divided this by 2 and for the length is kept at original dimensions. the angles will all be the same. all dimensions will be rounded off to the nearest point, e.g 12.104 will be 12, 89.856 will be 89.5 and so on.  If anyone can help would be much appreciated bolt dimensions.png

What???

"I am tracing round half of an image" how are you doing this? where is the image?  Maybe a screencast would help. (Turn on the mic and speak. We don't know you so we don't know what your voice is suppose to sound like. Also, you'll never know if we laughed or not (GRIN))

I'm finding it a bit difficult to determine what you want your part to look like from your sketch but it definitely needs constraining. Can you please post your Fusion 360 model (or a link to it) and an image of what you're trying to achieve?

If this answers your question please mark the thread as solved as it can help others find solutions in the future.

I've created a Windows application (and now Mac as well) for creating custom thread files for Fusion. You can find out about it here. Hope you find it useful.
If you need to know how to offset threads for 3D printing then I've created a guide here which you might find useful.
If you would like to send me a tip for any help I've provided or for any of my software applications you've found useful, you can do this via my Ko-Fi page here.

Have you used the Origin?

Have you ever measured a part with calipers or micrometers?

Do your dimensions make logical sense?
