Screen cast will explain what I'm seeing. To solve it, I just deleted the body split ops and re-did them, but I did save the file off if you need to see it for debugging. Let me know,

Hello? nobody even going to read this post?

I now have this happening in another file and it is rendering F360 useless for me now.

I am just stepping back in the timeline and finding a body that won't show up. It is there in the browser, the operation shows no errors, if I select it in the timeline,

I can see a "ghost" of it, but then it screws up the other stuff later in the timeline.

Will this be fixed with the patch due out this week?

Have you tried a compute all Ctrl+b when this happens?

Mark

Edit could you export and upload the design in your first screencast? Export as an f3d file please.

Where do you do that control-b at? is there a menu option for it? I tried it while focused on the drawing area and it doesn't seem to do anything.

No, I don't want to make this file public.

Here's another example of doing that after I fixed the previous problems (i.e., re-did the ops). This one I can't seem to fix though:

Compute all is on the modify menu.

I've never seen the problem you're having so can't help, good luck.

I am planning to take a look, but today kinda got away from me.  I'll take a look tonight.  If you want to share the design, it might help, but the workflow looks simple enough.

Thanks @jeff_strater

Trying to get you a password protected link to it, but F360 has just frozen on me with that popup displayed.Smiley Frustrated

@jeff_strater

I was able to fix it by deleting everything related to that extrusion starting with the sketch and just redoing it all.

Thanks, @fritter63.  I got the model.  Are you sure you sent me the broken model?  Because this one seems to be working OK for me:

And even on the neck model:

That is certainly a very strange bug.  I certainly believe that you are seeing this (I watched the videos), but it doesn't seem to be reproducing for me.

This is not the type of bug that would be system-dependent, I believe.  There must be more to it than I am seeing.  Any clues for how to reproduce this?

thanks,

Jeff

Yeah, if you grabbed the latest then I have already fixed it. Can you see older versions?

Apparently not.  I think Download only accesses the latest version.  If you want to invite me to your project, I can download back versions.  I think I only need the headstock design, but do you have any idea which version I need?  I think your video shows version 8.

Or, I think you can specifically download an old version of your design, and then either send it to me as an attachment, or upload it to a different project, and share that one.  Here is a screencast showing how to do this:
