Body "syncing" in Components

All the best! I am fairly new to the soft and I have a question. I am working with components, and for instance, when I try to delete a screw, all the other identical screws also get deleted, or when I move a wheel, all the other wheels move as well. Is there a way to disable this "sync" feature? Thanks!

It's fairly important to understand Components and how they work.  Component instances all share the same definition (geometry, child components, work geometry, sketches).  This is not a "sync" operation, this is just a shared definition.  Add a screw to that shared definition, and it will appear in all instances of that component.

However, if, when you create a new instance, you use Paste New instead of Paste, an entire independent copy of the component is created.  This will do what you want, but be aware, it is all or nothing.  Paste New components do then not share their definition with the original.  They are completely independent.

Hope this helps.
