bodies not showing up in list

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have been working in the same file all day and the last two bodies I created (camshaft and valve set) do not show up in bodies.  I have provided a picture, which shows what I'm referring to.   I turned all the bodies off in the list individually, but the two bodes you see do not appear to be in the list.  I usually save them in .STL to print from the bodies list.  Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

Make sure you didn't make them components, because if they were, they won't appear in the bodies menu

If this didn't solve it, please go to file > export > .f3d and attach it to your next post

Regards

Saeed

More recent bodies will be lower down, scroll down, cause we can't see the end of the list at the moment.

I'd just like to add that this was actually the solution!

I am a total beginner at Fusion 360 & I almost ignored it as the actual answer to the problem because it was such a stupid beginner mistake/overlook.

I am trying to edit a .stl mesh/Brep file so there are a lot of Bodies to start with! (116)

I was going crazy trying to figure this out as it looked like the new body (117) was/should be in the list but it was not visible!

I thought there were only 41 Bodies in my list & didn't realise there was a scroll bar on the side! Ooops!!

Thanks for the help!
DAN.

(I've now cleaned up the menu by grouping the original bodies (116) into a new Folder...)

@Dan.G.Beare

Here is another tip.

You can use the Windows commands Shift Win S and Ctrl v to grab clear screen capture images and Paste them here.
