Is there a good way to control the radius on top of the pointy end? It doesnt go to a true 90 degree tangent?

Can you explain why you mean with that? All fillets are fully tangent in this design!
Sorry, I mean in my part.
On the design you very kindly provided, the sides come down straight horizontal, and the ball at the pointy end ends up fully horitontal(Im assuming because this is a molded part, and they wanted a good amount of draft). I'm sorry I cant do it myself, Im not very good with the surface tool, and cant see a draft function. I can provide another picture if it would help you?

In this updated model I simply extruded at an angle:
Then I trim off the little slivers art the end that are the result of the angled inward extrusion.
