I've imported several things that I've initially modeled in Blender ino Fusion 360 (obj) and converted these into T-Spline models.
However in his case I want to import three differnet objets shown in the screenshot (from Blender) into Fusion 360 combine them and add mechanical features for assembly. Ultimately I want to create 2 objects and export stl files from these to be 3D printed at Shapeways out of their Strong and Flexible nylon plastic.
What is the best way to combine these objects ?
I've removed the subdivision modifier from Blender and exported the control meshes as .obj files. then I imported these into Fusion 360 and converted into three separate T-Splines. Is this the correct approach ? What do I do then ?
BTW I run Fusion on a mid 2010 27" iMac with core I7, 12GB RAM and 1GB video memory and Fusion has been chewing pretty hard on the tube object for a while (10+ minutes) when converting it into a T-Spline. It also warned about graphics memory being low and turing of some features. Only antialiasing was actually left 😉
