Good folks,

I am rather new here, and not quite sure where to fit my question - although I assume many of you might be able to help me.

I have one object and I need to create a flat pattern from it. My goal is convert object like image1 to flat pattern like image2 but my best result is like image3.

What is the best way to achieve the goal? It's possible?

All suggestions appreciated, thanks

You won't be able to get a flat pattern where there are Compound curves via the Sheetmetal Flat Pattern.  What are you aiming to end up with?>...Is this a pattern for upholstery?

The object will be the lid of a box.
I've already managed to create the full flat pattern but I don't think it was the right way to do it.
In the previous file *.f3d I applied "unfold" to the body and then I applied the "flat parttern", it worked but with errors.

Which made it no longer possible to refold the object.

any more suggestions?
