Best way to create components in an imported assembly

Hi all,

I imported an assembly with a mostly flat hierarchy from SolidWorks into Fusion. Now I want to group some of the components into single components.

I know that I can do that by selecting the components and drag and drop in the browser, but it is a hassle to do that with hundreds of components in the browser.

My first problem is with the selection of the components. I chose the selection filter to only select components, but it does not select whole subassemblies but only its components as well. Is there a way to tell the selection filter to select top level subassemblies too?

My second problem is with dragging the selected components into the new component. With hundreds of components in the browser it takes forever to drag and then scroll down to the newly created component to drop them there. I am sure there is a much better way, but I could not find it.

Could you please give me a hint on how to that?

Hi, 

best way to done this using API "scripts " 
I create script that can move selected bodies to same component 
but I can't share it for work issue 
so you can share your file and I'll done it for you 
note : in this way must all bodies in the main root ( this on you )
