Beginner cant get back to dimensioned part.

I'm been learning 360 with the help of the all the great videos. I go away from it when I get stuck. I have a few basic parts I've designed and saved (hopefully). I can't seem to be able to get back to the dimension page of my part. Do I need to make a drawing to achieve that?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

The videos in the Support and Learning section do cover this, however, you can fing the sketches you used to create your parts in the browser tree. if you click on the light bulb you can hide/show them. Or you can right-click on them and edit them.

By default Fusion 360 hides the sketch after you've extruded the first body. To edit the sketch of the e.g. extruded body, you have following options:

  • Open the Sketches folder in the browser, double click or right click -> Edit Sketch to edit the sketch and change the dimensions
  • Right click the body and choose Edit sketch

If you don't like the default behavior and you often want to extrude multiple bodies from one sketch, than you might want to disable following option by choosing Your name -> Preferences -> General -> Design -> Auto hide sketch on feature creation.

If you want to change the height of an extruded body, you can either double click or right click -> Edit feature or  right click -> Edit feature the body.

If my assumptions are wrong you might want to share your design or export and attach it here?
