Basic Sketch question - How do I sketch a line NOT a tangent arc?

Such a basic thing

I have a sketch with some lines that are not connected

I want to sketch another line to join them.

The system seems to want to default to drawing a tangent arc at the end of a line I select. 

Is there a hot key to NOT use tangent arc? Or simply force LINES only.

Click-click, not click and drag.

Hi Randy,

Left click and hold during movement creates an arc with tangential connection.
Left click (without hold) creates a straight line.

Thank you @g-andresen I appreciate you taking the time to explain that. As silly as that was it took extra steps to compensate haha Randy
