Basic BOM sorting - Sort by Part Number

Is there any way to auto sort the BOM in a drawing by part number without having to manually renumber balloons? When you have a BOM with many parts, manually clicking the balloons in the order you want the BOM to be listed is tedious and time consuming. I see this has been requested a number of times from users from as far back as 2016, so surely after almost 8 years this basic feature must have been implemented by now and I'm just not able to find it?

As it stands, there is no feature to do this automatically. But we are actively tracking requests for parts list sorting.

Every customer request that we get, from meetings, emails, forum posts etc. gets collected and categorized in our feature request database. This information is used to prioritize the features that we build. I've added your request to our database.
