ax handle help

Hello, I need help to get a nice transition between the upper and lower part of the ax handle. I have drawn this in 2 parts, maybe there is a better solution??

That depends on nice transition, hardware fit, and other things, but 

Try a Sweep, Path and Guide rail, with option as Stretch.

Similar to yours but much nicer.
