Simple story.
"Automatic Recovery Save Time Interval" set to 5 minutes.
In the middle of working on my design.
I made a sketch and did a Sweep. Then hit CMD+Z because it looked weird. Fusion becomes unresponsive but never actually quits.
I use Activity Monitor to Force Quit it (I¨m on a macbook).
I open Fusion 360 again.
Nothing is saved.
I had been working for about 1.5 hours.
What I got was the last time I had manually saved.
Now I have to go over all dimensions and parameters again and make sure things are properly dimensioned.
What gives?
Hi,
I thing you will get a faster answer if you post this in the Support forums

My bad.
How do you edit forum posts? I can't find the usual forum buttons here.
If you are working non stop the autosave never gets a chance to save. After a certain number of missed saves it should warn you.
You can also use shift + cmd + s on Mac or ctrl + Shift + s to force an autosave but not a version. I use this shortcut regularly.
