Automatic centerlines & -marks not working? (or am I doing it wrong?)

Please see attached - As I couldn't get the automatic centerlines to work on existing models, using an existing drawing template, I tried with a new model & a template from scratch - but I still can't seem to get it to work?  Strangely, the automatic centerlines *does* work as described in the Section View - but not in the other 2 views.

My Fusion 360 installed is: Fusion 360 2.0.15775 x86_64

Edit: I just tried again, after having rebooted for an update & it works correctly now (so, I probably did something wrong earlier) - but am I correct to see that it *only* works, when using a NEW drawing template (from scratch), but not on an existing drawing template from before this update...?

Is this intended?   I mean: does this mean, that I need to make a new template again?

If so, then so be it - but just please *communicate* those details in the announcement too?  I spent a fair amount of time trying to find out what might have happened & why it wouldn't work....  I could have well made the new template in that time & be on my merry way...

Thanks.

Thanks for letting us know. I was able to see exactly what you're describing.
I've taken your dataset and made it available to the dev team.
We are also aware of the issue with existing templates and generating centermarks and centerlines.

Thanks @-KyleWilliams-

Please note my addition above, I've added an extra note to my earlier message.

On a "scratch" template, it does work as intended. (Or at least, at the 2nd try, it did... 😅).

On the earlier created template files (I use a few, due to titleblock & logo differences), it doesn't work - I understand from your above comment, that this *should* have worked in the older template format as well?

Thanks for picking this up so soon, much appreciated.

Currently there is a bug with some older templates. That issue is being investigated.

@-KyleWilliams-    Just as an addition to above? Please also have a look at the *new* templates?  I've made a new template drawing "from scratch" and I've noticed that not all threaded holes are recognized by the automatic center marks option? These holes are all created with the holes function.

On a quickly drawn up dummy part, I can't seem to recreate the issue that easily.

I'd otherwise add the part & drawing here in the forum, but I can't publicly share it, as it's not my own part. Let met know, if you'd need me to email it to your AutoDesk email address?

Happy Easter!

@-KyleWilliams- Bumping this because I'm having the same issue. While I was using a template created a year ago at first I tried making a new drawing from scratch and it still didn't work. Having this fixed would save me a ton of time. Thank you.

I have demonstrated the process for creating automatic center lines using the model and drawing supplied by @jsLL2GA list above.  You did not supply a model and drawing but the video should help you solve your issue.
