Automated splitting of edges for meshing

Hi everyone

I'm trying to use Fusion360 to improve geometry which I will use for FEA in another package. Basically, I want to make it easier to mesh the models in the other software by adding seed vertices along edges where I want the mesh to be finer.

Lets say I have a solid body in Fusion360 which is a plate with a hole in it. Can I split the circular edge of the hole into 10 arcs in an automated way?

When I say automated, it doesn't have to be the entire model in one process. Ideally, I would just like to be able to click the edge and tell Fusion to split it into 10 arcs or lines without having to put the vertices/points there manually.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Cheers

Johannes

You can use Split Face.

If you File>Export and then Attach your *.f3d file here - I can demonstrate using your actual geometry.
