autofill text field based on a parameter

It would be great if we can auto update a text field based on a parameter or file version name. Now I have to do this manually what cost me a lot of time. Also, I make sometimes mistakes in the right naming now i have to do it manually.

You can do this today if you go into Parameters, add your own user parameters, and then start typing the name of your parameter in various value fields.

There is unfortunately no parameter unit for only text available.  I would like to include the the value of another parameter into my text field.

Sorry, this is not working. It is some years ago now and still waiting and hoping for this future.  What is needed is. A scatch text field that can get filled from a parameter. So, for example, the text on my body automatically shows the diameter parameter of the body. I make for example a ring with 10 different diameters with craved in the ring diameter.  For all 10 diameters, I currently have to put the diameter into the text scetch field. This can be automated when I populate the text with the ring diameter parameter.
