Strange dimension problem in Sketch

Hi

My 1st post here. I just searched and am not sure if what I am seeing has been mentioned before.

I am creating a sketch of a rectangle 20x35mm and placing a 6mm circle within it. When I try to set dimensions to position the circle relative to two sides of the rectangle I get a measurement of around 125mm (i.e. way more than either dimension of the rectangle. I have other sketches but they are all hidden? Am I doing something silly?

Screen clip here:

What happens if you just type in the dimension you desire, 10mm, and accept it?  You do not mention that.

Ah, good point. If I set it to 10mm the circle moves way off centre:

Attach you file so the forum users can troubleshoot the issue.  It hard to tell from just screen captures.  If you do not know how, open the file, go to the File menu and select Export.  Save to your hard drive as desired.  Then use the Attachment section of the forum post to attach it.

Brilliant. Thanks John.

File attached. I am sure it is something extremely simple.

The circle sketch in not on the same plane as the rectangle sketch.  You probably have 3D sketch enabled in your sketch palette.  If you are a first time user of Fusion 360, I would turn this off until you get your CAD legs!

Thanks John

I was not sure how 3D got turned on but was not aware of its effect. Problem fixed. Thank you.
